Introduction
New Faraja Orphanage Center is a non governmental organization aimed at providing support to orphans and vulnerable kids in Tanzania. It is located at Mburahati, Kwa Jongo, Dar es salaam with a number of 68 children living together.
Background
The orphanage was established in September 2019, by two founders named Miss Zamda Idrisa
Juma and her brother Mr. Mzamir Idrisa Juma who were also raised as vulnerable kids in an
orphanage center. Later in 2021 the organization was registered the government with the
registration number 005479/2021 with the capacity of 70 children. The orphanage has 68 children aged 2 years to 17 years.
Objectives of the Organization
The main focus of this organization is to provide better living condition, education and life skill to
children so they can overcome their day to day life within and outside the Organization. This
include mental and spiritual care, food, clothing, shelter and income generation projects that will
help the kid to start their life after their asylum which is 18 years.
The needs
Through this proposal, we are seeking help and donation to our organization in facilitating the day to day responsibilities and well as needs to our children. Below are the items in need, that we are humble to share with you.
1. School fees for 18 kids@ 50,000/= 900,000(per month)
2. Bus fare 18 kids@ 30,000/= 540,000/ (per month)
3. School Uniforms (68 students)
4. School shoes, bags &socks (any amount)
5. Ironing machine
6. Food ( Sugar, Rice, Beans, Cooking Oil etc)
7. Bed sheets &Mosquito nets
8. Power (43000146175 meter number)
9. Gas 130,000/ ( per month)
10. Washing Machine
11. Clothes and Stationary(books, pen & pencil, office computer & printer)
NB: 18 children are at kindergarten level, so we take them to private school for safety purpose.
Children of primary school are going to public school near our orphanage. So they do not need
school fees and bus fare.
These are the major challenges that faces our organization every now and then and we will be
thankful if we could get a hand in any of the mentioned items. Our hands are open to receive
