School Support: Beacon of Hope – Water Project (Kenya)

The Beacon of Hope school is located in the greater Maasai mara next to Maasai mara national reserve. 500m from the sekenani gate.
The school has an enrollment of about 180 learners and almost 99% are from the Maasai Mara community. The school was founded by a well-wisher Madam from international who drew up dream of helping the needy kids from the local after she made a visit to Maasai Mara
The water system made up of plastic pipes transporting it from the source are worn out and damaged. This resulted in buying water for the last two terms which is too expensive for a school that lacks government support.
We supplied funding to purchase durable pipes and labour cost to fix and replace the water pipe for the school.
